Thursday Night, Finally

Take a break from packing for the long weekend. It’ll be totally worth it, promise.

Jordan Grosser (un)cooks up a storm at tonight’s Mission Street Food pop-up dinner. Think sashimi and fruity deserts. Proceeds go to Food Runners, to alleviate hunger, prevent waste and create community.

Celebrate the greatest and most diverse city in the world at the opening reception of NeighborhoodSF at 111 Minna. Check out the work of local artists including Mike Giant, Jeremy Fish, Sylvia Ji, MARS-1, Coro, Nate Van Dyke, and Adam 5100. Reception starts at 6pm and with tunes from City Light, Nick Andre and E da Boss, it’s sure to go late into the night. (free)

Want to enjoy both the arts and the warm weather? Well you’re in luck because tonight is the Divisadero Art Walk from Geary to Haight. Expect deals from over 36 galleries, shops, bars, and restaurants. And just think about all the foursquare checkin opportunities!

At tonight’s NightLife, experts from UC Berkeley and Stanford will discuss “energy myths and the green economy.” And there will be tunes from DJ Miles Anzaldo.
